Six days built around a single, unhurried structure — two nights in the Volcanoes foothills for gorilla trekking, then three by Lake Kivu with nothing on the schedule but each other.

Arrive Kigali
Met on arrival and driven straight to the Volcanoes foothills, in time to settle in before dinner.

Gorilla Trekking Day
A pre-dawn briefing, then into the forest with trackers already ahead of you, following one of the park's habituated families.
03
Transfer to Lake Kivu
An easy half-day drive through Rwanda's terraced hillsides to the lakeshore, with the rest of the day free.
04–05
Lake Kivu, at Your Pace
Two full days with nothing scheduled — a boat trip to a nearby island, a couple's treatment, or simply the water.

Depart
A final lakeside breakfast, then the drive back to Kigali for your onward flight.
