What actually makes a safari "tailor-made"?
The route is built for you specifically — camps, pacing, drive times and countries chosen around your dates and interests, rather than assembled from a fixed set of departures.
Is there a minimum budget?
Most tailor-made routes start around $5,800 per person sharing for a week, once flights and park fees are included. We'll tell you early if your brief and budget don't line up, rather than after weeks of planning.
How long does planning take?
Four to eight weeks from first call to confirmed booking is typical, though we've built trips faster when travel dates were close. Peak season camps sell out earliest, so more lead time gives you more choice.
Can we combine more than one country?
Yes — Kenya and Tanzania pair easily, and Uganda or Rwanda add well as a gorilla-trekking extension to either. We'll flag realistic transfer times so the route doesn't lose days to logistics.
What if we need to change something after booking?
Minor changes are usually possible up until final payment, and your designer will always tell you plainly if a request affects cost or availability before confirming it.
Do you handle flights and visas too?
We arrange all internal flights and transfers as part of the route, and can advise on visas and international flight timing, though international airfare is booked separately by you.
