Is there an upper age limit?
No — we've planned safaris for travellers well into their eighties. The trip is designed around what you're comfortable with, not a cutoff.
Can drives be shortened or skipped?
Yes, and it's arranged before you arrive, not negotiated each morning. A two-hour drive is a complete safari, not a compromise.
What if mobility is a real concern?
Tell us specifics. We'll check step height, path conditions and room placement at each property before it goes on your itinerary, and say plainly if somewhere isn't a good fit.
Is medical evacuation cover included?
We require flying-doctor evacuation cover as standard on every route we plan, regardless of age.
Does altitude matter anywhere on a standard route?
Mainly at Ngorongoro's crater rim, which sits near 2,300 metres. We'll flag it if your route includes it and you've noted any sensitivity.
Can you accommodate medication that needs refrigeration?
Yes — we let camps know in advance so it's sorted before you arrive, not figured out on the day.
How long is a typical route, door to door?
Most senior-paced routes run seven to ten days, with shorter transfer days built in throughout rather than saved for one long stretch.
